Alfred Kane

Alfred Kane joined Baker Capital as an Advisor in  2002. Prior to this, Mr. Kane  was the Group CEO of Eircom Plc, the Irish National Telecommunications Operator (1994-2002) and during that period led the transformation and subsequent public listing of that company. Previously, Mr. Kane was the Operations Director of British Telecom's World Wide Networks Division (1988-1994) and CEO of British Telecom Northern Ireland (1984-1988). He has over 25 years of operational experience at CEO or Director level in all areas of the telecom, mobile and cable TV industries. Mr. Kane serves on the boards of Action Engine; Adaptix, Inc.; Custom One Design and DigiTV. He is a graduate of Queens University Belfast and holds a postgraduate Diploma in business studies.
